Love District started as an idea. The idea of getting lost in the sound. Shutting out the world and feeling something
deep inside you through the music.

Love District has more in common with the sonic landscape of U.K.s finest than they do with a town known for its laidback surf vibes. Drawing inspiration from Joy Division, The Smiths, OMD, Depeche Mode, as well as the movie The Matrix, Love District seems to have arrived in Santa Cruz from a different era in time. Weaving stories of the fabled nights at 'Hacienda Club' in Manchester U.K., to putting an ordinary person in someone else's shoes following the direction from a stranger in order to survive.
